Payment policy

At Omeeze, we aim to make the payment process clear, secure, and straightforward. This Payment Policy explains how payments are handled on Omeeze.com, when customers are charged, what information may be required during checkout, how payment issues are handled, and what to expect when a refund is issued.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

1. Accepted Payments

Omeeze accepts payment methods made available during checkout.

The specific payment options shown may vary depending on:

  • Device
  • Browser
  • Payment provider availability
  • Customer location
  • Technical availability
  • Checkout configuration

The payment methods displayed at checkout are the methods currently available for your order.

Customers should review the checkout page before submitting payment.

2. Currency

Unless otherwise stated, prices on Omeeze.com are displayed and charged in U.S. dollars (USD).

If your payment account uses another currency, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply:

  • Currency conversion
  • Foreign transaction fees
  • Exchange-rate adjustments
  • Additional financial institution charges

These charges are determined by the financial institution or payment provider and are not controlled by Omeeze.

3. When Payment Is Charged

Payment is generally authorized or charged when the customer submits an order through checkout.

Depending on the payment provider, a transaction may first appear as:

  • Pending
  • Authorized
  • Processing
  • Completed

The timing of final settlement may depend on the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment processor.

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has already been approved for fulfillment.

Orders may still be subject to payment verification, fraud review, product availability, and other standard order checks.

4. Payment Authorization

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method
  • The billing information you provide is accurate
  • The transaction is legitimate
  • You authorize payment for the order total shown at checkout
  • You understand that applicable shipping charges and taxes may be included in the final amount

If payment authorization fails, the order may not be completed.

5. Billing Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

This may include:

  • Full name
  • Billing address
  • ZIP code
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Payment-related information requested by the payment provider

Incorrect or incomplete billing information may cause a payment to fail or trigger additional verification.

To reduce processing delays, customers should ensure that billing information matches the information associated with the selected payment method.

6. Secure Payment Processing

Omeeze may use third-party payment providers to process transactions securely.

Payment providers may handle sensitive payment information directly through their own systems.

Omeeze does not intend to store complete payment card information on its own systems when that information is processed directly by an authorized payment provider.

Security measures may include:

  • Encrypted connections
  • Payment tokenization
  • Fraud screening
  • Transaction verification
  • Secure payment gateways

For more information about how personal information may be handled, please review our Privacy Policy.

7. Payment Verification

Some transactions may require additional verification before fulfillment.

Verification may be triggered by factors such as:

  • Billing and shipping address differences
  • Unusual transaction activity
  • High-value orders
  • Repeated payment attempts
  • Payment provider alerts
  • Fraud prevention systems
  • Incorrect billing information

Omeeze may contact a customer if additional information is reasonably necessary to confirm a transaction.

Failure to complete required verification may result in an order being delayed or canceled.

8. Failed or Declined Payments

A payment may be declined for reasons outside the control of Omeeze.

Common reasons may include:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Incorrect card details
  • Incorrect billing address
  • Expired payment method
  • Bank security restrictions
  • Payment provider limits
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Technical connection issues

If a payment is declined, we recommend confirming the information entered at checkout and contacting your bank or payment provider if necessary.

Omeeze generally does not receive detailed information explaining why a bank or card issuer declined a transaction.

9. Pending Charges

In some cases, a customer may see a pending charge even when an order was not completed successfully.

This may occur when a bank or payment provider temporarily authorizes funds during an attempted transaction.

A pending authorization is not always the same as a completed payment.

If an order was not successfully completed, the financial institution may automatically release the authorization.

The timing of that release is determined by the bank or payment provider.

10. Duplicate Charges

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same order, please first review:

  • Your order confirmation
  • Bank transaction status
  • Pending versus completed charges
  • Whether multiple orders were submitted

Sometimes one entry may be a temporary authorization while another is the final transaction.

If two completed charges appear for the same order, please contact Omeeze so we can review the transaction.

11. Pricing and Checkout Total

The final order total is displayed during checkout before the customer submits payment.

The amount may include:

  • Product price
  • Shipping charges
  • Applicable taxes
  • Discounts
  • Promotional reductions
  • Other clearly disclosed charges, where applicable

Customers should review the total carefully before completing checkout.

Omeeze does not intentionally add undisclosed charges after the customer submits an order.

12. Shipping Charges

Current shipping options include:

Standard Shipping: $5.99
Fast Delivery: $22.99
Free Standard Shipping: available for qualifying orders of $90 or more

Shipping charges are shown during checkout before payment is completed.

For full shipping details, including processing and transit times, please review our Shipping Policy.

13. Taxes

Applicable taxes may be calculated during checkout based on factors such as:

  • Delivery location
  • Applicable tax rules
  • Product type
  • Order value
  • E-commerce system configuration

Any applicable tax amount will normally be shown as part of the checkout total.

14. Discounts and Promotional Codes

When a valid discount or promotional code is available, it must generally be entered before completing checkout.

Promotional codes may be subject to:

  • Expiration dates
  • Minimum purchase requirements
  • Product exclusions
  • Usage limits
  • Customer eligibility requirements
  • Restrictions on combining discounts

Customers should verify that the discount has been applied before submitting payment.

If a promotional code was not successfully applied before checkout, Omeeze may not be able to apply it retroactively after the order has been completed.

15. Order Review After Payment

Payment approval does not automatically guarantee order fulfillment.

After payment, an order may still be reviewed for:

  • Product availability
  • Payment authenticity
  • Billing accuracy
  • Shipping information
  • Fraud prevention
  • Duplicate transactions
  • Technical errors

If an order cannot be fulfilled, Omeeze may cancel the affected order or item and issue an appropriate refund.

16. Order Cancellation and Payment

If a customer requests cancellation before fulfillment, we will make a reasonable effort to process the request.

Cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has entered processing or shipment.

If a paid order is successfully canceled, the applicable refund will be returned to the original payment method.

For additional details, please review our Terms of Service and Return & Refund Policy.

17. Refund Method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the order.

Omeeze does not normally redirect a refund to:

  • A different credit card
  • A different bank account
  • A different payment provider
  • Another person’s payment method

This approach helps maintain transaction security and accurate financial records.

18. Refund Amount

Eligible approved refunds may receive 100% of the approved refund amount.

The final amount depends on the items and charges approved as part of the refund.

For complete return and refund eligibility requirements, please review our Return & Refund Policy.

19. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are generally processed by Omeeze within:

2–5 business days after refund approval

After the refund is submitted, the bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the funds to the customer’s account.

That additional financial institution processing time is outside Omeeze’s direct control.

20. Refunds to Expired or Replaced Cards

If the original card used for an order has expired or been replaced, refunds are still generally sent through the original transaction channel.

Banks and card issuers may automatically route the funds to the replacement account or associated payment account.

Customers should contact their financial institution if they need assistance locating a refund.

21. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a problem with your order or payment, we encourage you to contact Omeeze before initiating a payment dispute.

Our support team can review issues involving:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Refund status
  • Incorrect order charges
  • Missing orders
  • Damaged products
  • Unauthorized transaction concerns

Opening a chargeback while an active refund or support case is already being processed may delay resolution.

Nothing in this policy limits any legal rights you may have through your bank, payment provider, or applicable consumer protection law.

22. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your payment method was used without your authorization, contact your financial institution immediately.

You should also contact Omeeze with any relevant order information so we can review the transaction.

Depending on the situation, we may take actions such as:

  • Reviewing account or order activity
  • Canceling an unfulfilled order where possible
  • Restricting suspicious transactions
  • Cooperating with payment providers or financial institutions

23. Fraud Prevention

Omeeze may use automated and manual fraud-prevention measures to help protect customers and the business.

These measures may evaluate information such as:

  • Billing address
  • Shipping address
  • Transaction amount
  • IP address
  • Device information
  • Order history
  • Payment verification results

Orders identified as potentially high-risk may be delayed, reviewed, or canceled.

24. Payment Provider Terms

Payment providers operate independently and may maintain their own:

  • Terms of service
  • Privacy policies
  • Security standards
  • Processing rules
  • Transaction limits
  • Dispute procedures

Customers may be subject to the terms of the payment provider they select during checkout.

25. Payment Information and Privacy

Payment-related data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and security practices.

Depending on the payment method, information may be shared with:

  • Payment processors
  • Banks
  • Card networks
  • Fraud prevention providers
  • E-commerce service providers

For more information, please review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

26. Technical Payment Issues

Occasionally, technical problems may affect checkout or payment processing.

Examples include:

  • Browser errors
  • Network interruptions
  • Payment gateway downtime
  • Duplicate checkout submissions
  • Session expiration
  • Bank authentication failures

If checkout appears unsuccessful, avoid repeatedly submitting payment without checking whether an order confirmation was created.

If you are uncertain whether an order was completed, contact us before attempting another payment.

27. Changes to This Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • Payment methods
  • Payment providers
  • Checkout technology
  • Business operations
  • Legal requirements
  • Security practices

The current version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
